Belinda has spent more than 25 years as a clinical and academic social worker dedicated to improving health and wellbeing across rural Australia. She brings extensive expertise in rural service delivery, community engagement, and translating evidence into practice. Belinda’s leadership in Rural-IST is driven by her commitment to ensuring that research directly benefits rural communities and strengthens the systems that support them. 

Dr Kristy Robson

Kristy is a rural health researcher and sector leader recognised for her work in ageing, workforce development, and community-based program implementation. With a career that bridges research, policy, and governance, she has a proven track record of influencing health reforms and delivering outcomes that matter to rural communities. Through Rural-IST, Kristy leverages her expertise and networks to scale solutions that improve equity and sustainability in rural health services. 

Dr Dan Wadsworth

Dan is an experienced health services researcher with expertise in rural workforce development and co-design of health solutions. His work centres on partnering with rural communities to develop and implement initiatives that reflect local needs and priorities. Dan’s strengths in collaborative research and innovative problem-solving make him a vital contributor to Rural-IST’s goal of delivering approaches that genuinely work for rural people and services.
